LighTech develops mobile and web applications for companies with a focus on business process automation. The company has more than 50 successfully implemented projects for MTS Digital, Gloria Jeans, Bayer and other customers from various industries. Thanks to company's own component library, the time and budget for development of digital solutions is saved up to 28%.
Initially, we had the task of creating an internal project management system that would help organize the main business processes within the team.
In addition, in the remote working environment, it became more difficult to onboard newcomers and immerse them in the workplace. Therefore, our team decided to create an application for project management and HR processes. During the development process, we expanded the functionality to provide support for the adaptation of new employees and improve team interaction.
This is how the LighTeams ecosystem came into being — a mobile and web application that combines the functions of a task tracker, a platform for project management, and an HR system for the adaptation and comfortable work of employees. The app allows you to plan, monitor, develop and engage your team in a single digital space.
Over time, we scaled our internal tool into a full-fledged B2B product that solves needs relevant to any business: automation of business processes and HR, goal setting, task tracking, team development, project and product management.
Problem statement
We focused on analyzing internal processes: communications, project management, task management, and onboarding. We identified weaknesses in the organization of remote work.
Design, functional modeling
Developed the system architecture, use cases and user roles. At this stage, we defined the core functionality. We prepared the database structure and laid the foundation for the mobile and web version.
MVP development and launch
Created an MVP with basic functionality and engaged a team to pilot it. The LighTech team tested the platform in real-life conditions and implemented it into everyday workflows.
Implementation and scaling
The platform was integrated into all the main processes of the company. Functionality was gradually added. It was decided to distribute the product as an external solution for companies that need a flexible project management system and HR functions.

The LighTech team was rapidly expanding and the tasks were getting bigger. We needed to quickly implement a solution for projects and task management that would be easily adaptable to internal processes, scalable, and not dependent on external suppliers.
At that time, there were no ready-made solutions that would fully cover our needs, and foreign services had left the market. Domestic analogs were either overloaded with functionality or did not meet our requirements in terms of flexibility and UX. We decided to follow our own path and create our own solution.
Building LighTeams within our team of 30+ people allowed us to test the hypothesis and validate the value of the platform in real-world conditions. We noticed an acceleration of onboarding processes, increased task transparency, and improved employee engagement.
Updates are released regularly. We monitor the quality of each release and roll out only useful improvements.
