The Runet Rating is an annual competition among developers and project owners, where the best websites and mobile applications in Russia are selected. For our team, participating in it was a kind of challenge and an opportunity to test their strength on an equal basis with other IT companies.
Over the 15 years of its existence, the Runet Rating has become an authoritative platform. Both large companies, which often become finalists, as well as small agencies and studios participate in the award. It was interesting for us to evaluate our strengths among the nominees this year, given the fact that we are not a major player in the IT services market.
In 2024, one of the largest products that we launched on the market became Aroi Dee, an analog of Yandex.Food in Phuket. The ecosystem includes 5 applications to provide a familiar delivery service for tourists and expats. The project ideally fits the category: "Application in a foreign language". Aroi Dee supports 4 languages and geographically covers the entire island.

We used Flutter to develop a system to make cross-platform mobile applications with high performance, flexible UI and uniform code on iOS and Android. This accelerated the development process and reduced the cost of supporting the two platforms. The use of a cross-platform approach has proven itself in production. The solution turned out to be flexible and scalable.
The app is localized in Russian, Chinese, Thai and English, and it is already quite popular on the island, where the tourist flow reaches more than 10 million people annually. It is particularly popular among Russian-speaking tourists due to the presence of the Russian language, intuitive interface and functionality, which we are so used to in Russia.
In the application, we have focused on the most convenient functionality and intuitive interface.
Users of the mobile food ordering app can select establishments by category, use filters, pay for and track delivery.
Restaurant managers monitor the cooking process, order history, and payment history in their administrative dashboard.
Couriers use a separate mobile application to confirm and fulfill orders.
The mobile food ordering app has already garnered thousands of downloads in the App Store and Google Play, receiving high ratings, including from Russian users.
The recognition from the experts of the Runet Rating Contest and the support of the IT community are important to us. We are glad that we passed the selection and were shortlisted.
The Aroi Dee project involved a LighTech team of two Middle Flutter developers, a team leader, an architect, a QA engineer, a designer, a project manager, and a DevOps specialist.
We are proud of the result, and especially of our team, as we prepare for new projects and challenges next year.
